Never enough time

There is never enough time in a weekend to get everything done that needs to be done. I had a whole list of things ….

  • Clean the garage
  • Soccer Game
  • Lift weights at the Y
  • Rake leaves
  • Cut grass
  • Flea and heartworm prevention for Shadow
  • Clean deck
  • Stack patio chairs
  • Cover patio furniture
  • Caulk windows and doors
  • Get PKI passes for next season

Etc, etc, etc …

Saturday was a bust … I normally meet a good friend for breakfast at 7:00 or 7:30. My friend was out of town so that didn’t happen. I got up at 6:00 (that’s sleeping in), let Shadow out, went back up to bed. Shadow came up with me. She likes to get inbetween WIFE and I. Normally at our feet, but this time she decided to put her head up on my shoulder and plopped a paw on my chest. I had my arm around her scratching her chest and belly. We both fell back asleep like that. Woke up at 9am. Couldn’t really go anywhere or do anything because of the DAUGHTER-2’s last game. (lost 1 – 4) We got back from the game and visited with my sister for a bit and she went back to Columbus after the OSU game. Went to the Y with WIFE and DAUGHTER-2 and did my every-other-day circuit of weights. We then went to PKI and had new passes made up ($299.80!!!). I thought with the Cedar Point people buying PKI it would be cheaper. Maybe they meant cheaper than all their other parks!

Sunday was not much better. Had to make the usual grocery run. Got back and took DAUGHTER-1 to get her pass. It was freaking cold!! And the parking lot was empty … we decided to run in to the park and ride the Italian Job one last time for the year and it was closed. The Beast was not running either. But we did ride The Vortex. Twice! Ride finished there was no one there to get on. So we all (everyone who was on it) rode it again! Kinda cool! That was the first time DAUGHTER-1 rode it. And she loved it! Went to the Racers and after that ride we were way too cold to do anything else. We checked out all the scary decorations and left.
